We’re excited to announce the reopening of the Map & Data Library (MDL) on September 8!

To celebrate, the Map & Data Library has curated a special book display featuring a selection of books from the Robarts Library physical collection. The display highlights the wide range of subjects, resources, and research interests that the Map & Data Library supports from maps and cartography to data, data analysis, GIS, data visualization and much more.

Whether you are a long-time user of the Map & Data Library or are discovering our collections and services for the first time, the display offers an opportunity to explore some of the many ways that maps and data can help us understand the world around us.

The books on display have been selected to reflect the breadth of topics covered and supported by the Map & Data Library. We hope the display will inspire you to browse, discover something unexpected, and perhaps find a new resource for your research or teaching.

The book display will be available to visit on the first floor of Robarts Library beginning September 1. You can also browse the book display online and learn more about our new space and services visiting our StoryMap.
